3rd Grade Curriculum

Reviewing the Curriculum

The Transdisciplinary Themes in IB provide the “umbrella” subject, or theme, under which teachers create specific lines of inquiry they will pursue with students. The Grade Teams also collaborate to create one Central Idea for each Transdisciplinary Theme, and together with the Lines of Inquiry, teachers use these as guides when they create their instruction lessons.

Below each Theme's description is a brief summary of what students learn in the theme. Please click on the Summary Links to read the information.
